MiniGardens Bonsai Workshops – Progressive Series

The MiniGardens Progressive Bonsai Workshops are designed for those who have completed a beginner class or have basic experience and are ready to deepen their skills and understanding of bonsai maintenance.

Repotting is one of the most important steps in maintaining the health and longevity of your bonsai. In this hands on workshop, we will guide you to safely handle the root system, and learn the role different soils play in tree development. We’ll cover soil selection, drainage, and aftercare to ensure your bonsai thrives through the seasons. Perfect for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts, this workshop will give you the confidence to repot with skill and purpose.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own trees and pots, though selected material trees and pots can be provided if needed (Additional cost). Tools, Soil and wire will be available to use during the workshops. This session includes demonstrations, design critique, and guided practice with personalised feedback in a small group setting (MAX 15 participants).

Booking Policies: We understand that plans can change, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. In the event that you need to cancel your attendance to our workshop, please adhere to the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation Notice: We kindly ask for a minimum of 72 hours notice prior to the workshop start time if you need to cancel your registration. This allows us to accommodate other participants who may be on a waiting list or interested in attending.
2. Refund Policy: If you cancel 7 days prior the workshop, we will provide a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellation made 3 days prior the workshop, we will provide 50% of your registration fee and if you cancel 24 hours prior the workshop, no refund will be given.
3. Cancellation Process: To cancel your registration, please email or phone with your full name, workshop details. We'll process your request as promptly as possible.
4. No-show Policy: If you fail to attend the workshop without prior notice, you may forfeit your registration fee. We strongly encourage you to inform us of any changes to your plans to avoid inconvenience for both parties.
5. Workshop Rescheduling: In rare cases where we must cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, instructor unavailability), we will notify registered participants as soon as possible and offer alternative dates or a refund.
