MiniGardens Bonsai workshops – 'Subject' series info:

MiniGardens Bonsai ‘Subject’ workshop is dedicated for people who want to further explore into specific subjects of bonsai art, science and learn about nature in miniature.

Students are welcome to bring their own trees to work on. We will also have material trees available for students to practice on. Other tools such as Sphagnum moss, tape, gladwrap, knife, rooting hormone will be provided. The workshop is 1-1.5 hours long and usually 10 per class. 

There will be examples of well-trained bonsai trees on display and detailed explanations on the different techniques used to create a bonsai.

A little History:

William YIP from Team YIP Real Estate have been helping & supporting us with our bonsai journey dating back to our days in Johnsonville. Before we formed our nursery, we started our bonsai journey at our parent’s garden in Johnsonville. Johnsonville will always hold its special place in our hearts and it is fantastic to take our bonsai workshops back to where we started.

Booking Policies:

We understand that plans can change, and unforeseen circumstances may arise. In the event that you need to cancel your attendance to our workshop, please adhere to the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation Notice: We kindly ask for a minimum of 72 hours notice prior to the workshop start time if you need to cancel your registration. This allows us to accommodate other participants who may be on a waiting list or interested in attending.

2. Refund Policy: If you cancel 7 days prior the workshop, we will provide a full refund of your registration fee. Cancellation made 3 days prior the workshop, we will provide 50% of your registration fee and if you cancel 24 hours prior the workshop, no refund will be given.

3. Cancellation Process: To cancel your registration, please email or phone with your full name, workshop details. We'll process your request as promptly as possible.

4. No-show Policy: If you fail to attend the workshop without prior notice, you may forfeit your registration fee. We strongly encourage you to inform us of any changes to your plans to avoid inconvenience for both parties.

5. Workshop Rescheduling: In rare cases where we must cancel or reschedule the workshop due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., extreme weather, instructor unavailability), we will notify registered participants as soon as possible and offer alternative dates or a refund.
